SPUR Programme

Dear Parents,

Next Monday (21 Jan), I will be distributing a copy of the SPUR (Super Passionate Ultimate Reader) booklet to every boy. Kindly help your child to get a simple plastic file to keep the set of activity sheets, and his work. Tomorrow I will show the boys a sample of a file they can use.

The boys are expected to read at least one English storybook per week. He may choose to do one follow-up activity (from the SPUR booklet) based on the book read. Every activity has to be related to a different book.

Every Monday, the SPUR file has to be submitted to me for checking. If your child has completed one of the stipulated activities, he will receive one point. He needs to accumulate 10 points to receive a token.

Kindly encourage your child to participate in the SPUR programme actively! Your involvement will SPUR him into becoming a self-motivated, lifelong reader!
