I have just finished marking the work you did today,
and I am ...
DEVASTATED!!!
Why?! Well, I had expected all of you to produce top quality work!!!
Generally you were able to complete the worksheets yourselves. However, I much prefer you to write the answers LEGIBLY and NEATLY! Doing that helps ME to read your answers easily, and the marking exercise becomes a pleasant one! Yes, do spare a thought for this old lady who is beginning to have frail eyesight due to old age!
So here are some reminders:
1. Cover page of Unit Booklet
- Write your full name. Please practise writing your full name correctly! Every word of your name must begin with a letter in its upper case.
- Write your class. Capital letter 'J' sits on the line; it does not go below the line!
- Indicate your colour group at the top right hand corner. This will facilitate me in distributing the booklets.
2. Learning Sheet
- Write your name but you need not write your full name.
- Write your class.
- Write the date. It must be written in this format: eg 8 January 2013.
3. Please write your answers ON the lines provided! They should not be floating in mid air!
4. Please make an effort to distinguish your letters in upper and lower case. However, big in size does not = a capital letter!
Eg. "Your majesty, the musicians are ready to perform for you."
5. Use only pencils to write and underline. If I would like you to use a pen, colour pencil or highlighter, I WILL inform you.
6. Corrections are to be done using a GREEN colour pencil. So do have one with you every day!
Lastly, don't forget to prepare yourselves for the Spelling Test! The dictation will be tested next week. I will inform you if there is a need to memorize the passage.
That's all for today! See you tomorrow!
Cheers,
Mrs Tan

I'll try harder.
