You will be sitting for your composition exam tomorrow! Here's what you need to do:
1. Pray!
2. Examine the given pictures and helping words carefully!
3. Think and Plan!
4. Write NEATLY!
*Mrs Tan is NOT going to be the one marking your exam scripts! The teacher who is going to do so will not be familiar with your peculiar ways of writing certain letters of the alphabet. Hence, illegible handwriting will be regarded as spelling errors. The number of spelling errors (together with the number of punctuation errors, and the number, type and severity of grammatical errors) you make will be taken into consideration when the teacher is awarding marks under Language.
5. Check your work!
Although I will not be marking your scripts, I will take a look at them after they have been marked. And I will mete out the meanest punishment to those boys who do not produce neat work!
Yes! These boys will have an A4-sized picture of my 'pretty' face pasted on their desks! To constantly remind them that they are to write NEATLY!
Do make sure you have at least 2 sharpened pencils and an eraser!
Lastly, don't forget to remind your parents that you will be dismissed at 12.30pm tomorrow!
